Privacy Policy
Effective
LessWorkHQ is operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
- When you contact us or join the waitlist: your name, business name, industry, city, email, phone number, and anything you write to us.
- When you interact with us on Instagram or Facebook (for example, you comment a keyword or send us a message): your public username, the comment or message, and the information you choose to share in the conversation.
- When you are a client: the business information you give us to set up your service, such as your price list, hours, services, brand files, and account details for tools you connect.
- When we provide services for a client business: information about that business’s customers that passes through the service, such as a caller’s phone number, text messages, photos they send, and appointment details.
- Basic website data: standard technical information like browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and understand what is useful.
How we use it
- To answer you, send what you asked for (for example, an audit or a demo), and schedule calls.
- To set up and run the services a client signs up for, including drafting replies, quotes, follow-ups and posts for the owner to approve.
- To improve our services, fix problems, and keep things secure.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use a client’s customer data to market our own services to those customers.
AI processing
Our services use AI models from third-party providers (for example, Anthropic) to read and draft messages, quotes and content. Information is sent to those providers only to perform the service, under their business terms. Business owners approve outgoing work unless they have chosen to turn on automatic sending for a specific task.
Text messages (SMS)
- We, or the client business we work for, text people who contacted that business or agreed to receive texts from it. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver the messages.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business, under agreements that limit their use of the data, such as:
- hosting and database providers (for example, Cloudflare and Supabase)
- messaging and phone providers (for example, Twilio)
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook), when you interact with us there
- AI model providers, as described above
- professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it
When we work on behalf of a client business
If you are a customer of a business that uses LessWorkHQ, that business decides how your information is used, and its own privacy policy applies. We process your information for that business as its service provider. Requests about that data can go to the business or to us, and we will help.
How long we keep it
As long as needed for the purpose we collected it for: leads and conversations while we are in touch and for a reasonable time after; client data for the length of the service and any period the law requires. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. See Data deletion.
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails with the unsubscribe link or by telling us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor them.
Security
We store lead, customer and conversation data in a secured database, not in documents or shared files, limit who can access it, and keep account keys out of our code. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong, we will tell affected people as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the effective date above. Questions or requests: [CONTACT EMAIL], or [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], [MAILING ADDRESS].
